PROJECT DETAILS:

The Client’s project was to build a new facility to include a 1,500 sf pole barn and office trailer and needed engineering, design and documentation services for permit and construction drawings.

TAI provided engineering, design, and AutoCAD documentation services required to complete permit and construction drawings. This facility consists of an office trailer and pole barn with a garage/storage area with the main electrical room and water service room that serves both buildings. The office trailer, approximately 500sf, contains a supervisor’s office, a break room, a restroom and shower.

Design development and construction documents were submitted for permit and construction as well as mechanical/plumbing design, including HVAC load calculations for proposed programming. TAI also provided the plumbing design in coordination with the civil engineer who provide the design for a domestic water well and septic system. The domestic water system and septic system will serve both the pole barn and the office trailer.

For the electrical design, TAI performed load calculations to determine new power requirements and provide lighting and power receptacle layout design based on an initial layout by the Architect. TAI also provided design for power to new mechanical equipment and for a new electrical service to the pole barn and office trailer connected to the existing overhead wires in coordination with the local electrical utility.
