TAI provides all services, including turn-key evaluations and problem resolution. Our Inspection Division can perform inspections to collect the data we require in the Mechanical Engineering (ME) group to perform our analysis and evaluation work. TAI provides:
- Fitness-for-Service evaluations on Pressure Vessels and Tanks.
- Pipe Stress Analysis for new designs, as well as existing installations.
- Finite Element Analysis (FEA) specifically per ASME Section VIII, Div.2 and for Pipe Stress.
- Software and training specifically geared to the ASME Codes for FEA.
In many instances, our clients come to us with concerns about equipment that has been deemed “no longer suitable for service,” based on basic evaluations such as the Pressure Vessel Inspection Code. We are able to safely extend the useful life of equipment through more rigorous engineering evaluations such as Fitness-For-Service and the use of Finite Element Analysis (FEA), which is consistent with the applicable codes and standards.
