Calibration and Commissioning for Plant Expansion

TAI performed calibration and testing for all field instrumentation and control loops associated with the plant expansion, including all NIST Calibration Standards, calibration consumables, project manager, lead calibration technician and 14 field service calibration technicians to complete the fast track project over a 12-month deadline.

Tasks included:

• TAI performed 7,000 NIST Traceable Calibrations and 5000 Vendor Module Control Loop Verifications.
• TAI utilized our internal NIST Traceable Standards to complete the calibration and commissioning tasks.
• Calibration Services performed in CUP (Central Utility Plant) and Processing Areas.
• Entered all calibration data into Blue Mountain Calibration Database
• Completed Fast Track Project Scope in 10 months of a 12-month deadline.
• Performed Load Cell Calibrations with our internal Mass Flow Standards.
• Performed troubleshooting and repair services.
• Provided a project start-up team to the client.
• Worked shift work to accomplish tasks and meet project deadlines after construction delays.

The calibration and commissioning tasks were completed in 10 months which exceeded the 12-month deadline and enabled the Client to meet its validation deadline that contributed to meeting project completion and production deadlines.
