This project included the automation of the ECF Bottling Tank Room. This included wiring additional transfer pumps into the PLCs and automating existing valves. The PLC in the tank room was designed to communicate with the tanks located in the blending areas. TAI installed a new Allen Bradley PLC with I/O cabinet in an existing room in the Tank Room building. The cabinet integrated all existing and new I/O for the Tank Room into a central location.

TAI provided engineering, procurement, construction management, programming, and start-up support for the ECF Bottling Tank Room Automation and facility upgrades project. Additionally, TAI performed engineering design to develop construction documents for new and demo work, updated existing plant drawings to reflect changes, purchased equipment and hired contractors to complete the installation, modified PLC/HMI programming to incorporate changes and provided support to Diageo personnel.
