ABOUT: The Client is a global leader in beverage alcohol with an outstanding collection of brands across spirits and beer – a business built on the principles and foundations laid by the giants of the industry.
This project included the relocation of blending and filtering operations to a new location during a plant shutdown. The relocation included the conversion of tanks to blending tanks equipped with agitators, level transmitters and spray balls, the relocation of processing equipment (pumps, filters and flow meters), and the automation of receiving, blending and filtering operations with the addition of automated valves and a RIO panel. TAI provided engineering, procurement, construction management, programming, and start-up support for the Client’s blending relocation project. Additionally, TAI developed drawings to show new and demo work, updated existing plant drawings to reflect changes, purchased equipment and hired contractors to complete the installation, modified PLC/HMI programming to incorporate changes and provided support to the Client’s plant personnel.
