TAI provided professional engineering services including the construction of a two story, approximately 40’ x 65’, mechanical building suitable for storage and for future uses to house three (3) 100 horsepower air compressors, ancillary air system equipment, a hot oil heating system and a VI Dissolver. Upgrades to the plant’s systems for supplying dry compressed air. The project required the installation of three (3) 100 horsepower air compressors, air dryers, compressed air storage capacity and associated piping to tie-in to the existing plant compressed air distribution system. Upgrades to the plant’s hot oil heating system was also implemented. Also installed was a new, larger hot oil heater and ancillary equipment and associated hot oil piping to tie-in to the existing plant hot oil distribution system.

TAI prepared a preliminary engineering package for the design and prepared a project cost estimate that the Client used to secure funding. TAI completed the detailed design documents and drawing suitable for bidding and construction. TAI provided process, architectural, MEP, electrical, instrumentation & controls, and structural engineering to support the preliminary design, cost estimate and detailed design.
