The Client requested 3D HD scans to capture existing structure and MEP systems of the rooms of the Chem Lab located at the Client’s facility. TAI’s deliverable was point cloud data. TAI scanned the areas requested utilizing a Leica Scanstation P30 3D Laser Scanner. Due to the nature of an active construction site, TAI worked with the contractor to schedule scanning during times of limited activity to produce the best results of completed imagery. The scans captured data and generated a point cloud of elements found within the scanned space.
