PROJECT DETAILS

The Client completed the construction of its new Distillery in Baltimore, MD in April 2017.  TAI provided the complete Project Management, Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, and Controls Design, and Implementation for the Client’s new Distillery project. TAI designed and integrated communication networks between PLC/HMI, ethernet controlled MCCs, and control components throughout two buildings. TAI also procured the HMI panel and programming along with documentation, system integration services, commissioning, startup, and on-going support.

TAI provided the following:

  • Electrical Power Distribution, Automation & Controls specification and design
  • Electrical Construction Drawing and Contract Document Development.
  • Construction Services including Submittal review and RFIs
  • Sequence of Operations Development for the complete Distillation Process
  • HMI Panel Procurement. TAI furnished Six Class 1, Division 1 and Division 2 HMI Workstations. TAI staged the
  • PLC and HMI workstations for witness testing, and provided comprehensive FAT testing
  • PLC and HMI Programming. Allen-Bradley ControlLogix platform and Rockwell FactoryTalk View HMI Workstations were specified.
  • Commissioning Test Protocols Development & Execution for Site Acceptance Testing
  • I/O Checkout, Commissioning, Startup & Training
  • TAI provides continual maintenance and site support for all PLC/HMI and electrical/instrumentation items
