The Client, a global pharmaceutical firm, provides technologies, development, drug manufacturing, biologics, gene therapies and consumer health products.

Project Details

TAI provided process and utility related design and engineering services to help the Client determine process equipment needs (Fermentors, Tanks, Mixers, Clean Steam Generators, CIP systems and similar equipment) – both existing and new – to meet their Plasmid process development and GMP production goals. TAI also provided Engineering services required for the utility selection and design for clean steam, CIP, Biowaste, pH neutralization, Bulk or Semi-Bulk lab gas supply, HVAC, plumbing and electrical utilities.

TAI and the Client defined the equipment needs to determine an efficient and effective 1st floor equipment layout for two spaces indicated as PD and GMP areas. TAI also provided second floor designs to support the continued operations and initiatives of the Client. The work in each of the PD area and new GMP area included cleanroom environments of 10K and 100K classifications, office space, and lab space within the 1st and 2nd Floors of the Client site. TAI provided engineering and design utilizing AutoCAD / Revit in coordination with the Client’s requirement and third-party architectural support to meet project goals.
