Dairy Processing Plant: Process Flow Diagram Using 3D HD Laser Scanning

The Client owns a plant and production operation located in Chandler, OK that houses multiple production process lines that manufacture milk, iced tea, cottage cheese and various ice-cream-based products. The Client wanted to update their existing Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) for their plant. TAI was tasked to provide field work and 3D High-Definition Laser Scanning to obtain the information needed to update the PDFs and at the same time begin to assemble the Point Cloud “pictorial information” to support future operator training.

TAI also provided the AutoCAD work needed to update the PFD drawings in accordance with the results of the 3D HDS process scans and collected field data. In addition, provided 3D HDS scans of process equipment and piping systems needed for the PFD update.
