Bachelor’s Degree- Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering

Description of Responsibilities/Duties:

TAI is searching for mid-level and senior level automation and controls engineers for work on-site in Easton, MD.  Candidates should have background in industrial controls automation involving the design, programming, and maintenance of PLC, HMI and DCS controlled systems.

Other responsibilities include:

• Instrument and Instrumentation Specification (Level, Flow, Pressure, Temperature, Analytical - pH, LEL, O2, CO, CO2, etc.)
• Electrical Component and Field Device specification (combination starters; VFD’s; MCC’s; pushbuttons/selector switches; point level, temperature, flow and pressure switches; heat trace, etc.)
• Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) component specification
• Human Machine Interface (HMI) component specification
• Low Voltage Electrical Power Distribution Design
• PLC Panel Layout and Design
• Motor Control Panel Layout and Design
• Electrical Construction Drawing Development
• PLC Programming
• HMI Development and Configuration
• DCS Systems and Associated Operator Interface Development
• Systems Integration
• Startup Support and Commissioning
• Validation and associated support functions (FRS, DDS, IQ/OQ)
• Data Historian Development
• Work closely with other disciplines to provide comprehensive engineered solutions for clients
• Manage projects including scope, budget, and schedule
• Manage project design and engineering resources
