TAI developed the PLC and HMI configurations for a 4-axis robotic bread-loading machine. The machine performs multiple picks of bread loaves to form one of several available patterns on a head. The head then loads the loaves of bread into a basket on a load conveyor. The PLC used for the machine is an Allen-Bradley PanelView 600. TAI performed the necessary ControlLogix programming utilizing RSLogix 5000 software, including recipe management, motion control, and sequence logic, and developed the necessary HMI graphics utilizing Panel Builder software.
