TAI developed a complete system design for a Precious Metals Process involving the following Instrumentation and controls engineering functions:

• Developed complete system P & IDs.
• Coordinated MCC specificaion and integration into the Controllogix.
• Provided instrumentation specification data sheets for 75 devices.
• Provided specifications for and designed complete system PLC Hardware. A Controllogix processor is being utilized for the 500 I/O point system that interfaces via ControlNet with two RIO panels and 29 smart VFD controllers. The Controllogix processor also interfaces with eight weigh scale units via remote I/O, as well as with 3 operator workstations running RSView software and five subsystem PLCs via Ethernet.
• Linked main system Controllogix processor with various equipment package PLC systems for complete integrated control system.
• Provided complete electrical and instrumentation construction drawing package.
